So I am a little skeptical of this post. It seems fishy that it only has 27,00 miles. Is something wrong with this car that it has such little miles? Or is it truly just an weekend car?

2003 infiniti g35 with 27,000 miles on it $17,500

That does seem quite odd. I mean, that's less than 3,000 miles per year.

CP. Autotragic and not a car I'm a big fan of to begin with. KBB pegs the value at about $13-14k.

CP. I've heard that the 350Z and G35 had a few oil burning issues, and inattentive maintenance does not bode well for these cars. It's possible it wasn't driven often, or sat on a dealer lot for a long time, and then was started up without an oil change or new gas after a long time. I'm not an expert, but that sounds like a recipe for a disaster. I'd be more confident if it had 40-50,000 miles, since that sounds like it was driven regularly throughout its life.

Totally agree. Just letting a car sit is super bad for it.

Old cars with low milages always make me wonder what's wrong with them.

Performance cars have the likely explanation of being a weekend car. I'd buy that more with a M3 as opposed to a G35 with a slushbox

DON'T HATE ON THE SLUSHBOX! lol. I love automatics, especially for traffic. But when it comes to driving experience, (when you aren't in traffic) manual all the way.

I've never understood all the hate for a manual in traffic, it's really not that hard. I will hate on the slushbox forever, especially in a 350z wearing a bad suit.

Has to be something wrong with it right? Doesn't seem right. Watch there be a "slight" engine sound. Sort of like those "slight body damaged" craigslist hondas.

350z wearing a bad suit? I am totally missing the reference here, if there is one.

"slight engine fire"

"slight frame damage"

"slight water damage"

It's a 350z with an ugly body kit on it. I might be in the minority but I've never liked how the G35/37 looked.

FWIW, I never had any problems or oil burning issues with my Z. And I was not nice to that car.

I think it was hit or miss, but I've heard that as a common complaint. They're still awesome cars.

*GASPS* I personally love the G class for being a sporty luxury car, with ample interior room. But I think it's a little too expensive/overpriced. Especially since it's based on a car that was selling $35k originally. But I respect your opinion, everyones entitled to it.

I saw a 2007 E63 AMG on a lot that had my attention. When started it coughed out some smoke and gave no indication that it wanted to move. The man said it hadn't been started in awhile, after i had started it ofcourse.

Not quite a 350z as it's wheel base is longer so better road manners. Also that old with that low mileage I'd be worried about bad seals ect from it standing to long

I've got an 06 g35 since new and it's never burned any oil. They 06 was more refined than the early days models so that may make a difference.

The problems were only on a portion of models made 2004 or earlier I believe.

CP, hell no. You can get an 07 or so with way more power and features for the same money.
